I was never a huge fan of scalloped potatoes, but thought I’d give them a spin. I’m basically immune to the flavor of nutritional yeast these days. One has to in doing dairy free cooking – it’s added to everything savory. Someone thinks it resembles cheese in flavor. Not exactly accurate, but I’ve learned to deal. This wasn’t too bad. My family even tried them – the husband wasn’t too thrilled, like I’ve said I’ve had to drag him kicking & screaming into my dairy free world. But he did try a small bite.
