Fresh from Farmer's Market



Next time you're at farmer's market be sure to pick up some fresh basil so you can make this amazing vinaigrette. If you're lucky enough to shop at one of the markets here in SLO county be sure to stop by Peacock Farm's for the best tasting tomatoes on the Central Coast.

Farmer’s Market Basil Vinaigrette

½ C extra virgin olive oil (mellow or neutral flavor profile)
juice of 1 lemon
salt and pepper to taste
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 tsp. sugar (to taste)
2 tbsp. finely chopped basil

Whisk all ingredients together.  Adjust seasoning as needed.
