Holiday Entertaining - Apple Mint Punch

Here is another fun punch flavor we came up with for the Monday Club. It's tasty and was one we used frequently. Hope you enjoy.

APPLE MINT PUNCH
2 c water
4 green tea bags
1 1/2 c apple juice (100% juice like Martinelli's)
1 c mint simple syrup (recipe is below)
1/4 c fresh lemon juice
1 c sparkling water, chilled
Ice

  • Bring water to a boil - turn off heat, add tea bags and let steep for 6 minutes
  • Remove tea bags & cool tea to room temperature, about 45 minutes
  • Pour cooled tea into a large pitcher
  • Add apple juice, mint simple syrup and lemon juice
  • Refrigerate until you're ready to serve
  • To serve add sparkling water & pour punch into ice-filled glasses
  • Garnish with fresh mint

Mint Simple Syrup
1 c water
1/2 c white sugar
1 packed cup fresh mint leaves

  • Combine water & sugar in a small pot, bring to a boil
  • Stir occasionally until all sugar has dissolved, about 3 minutes
  • Remove from heat, add mint leaves
  • Let syrup cool, about 20 minutes
  • Strain leaves out before using
